Gloom, Ash and Emptiness to the Horizon

David Fischer You can tell The Fall spent some time with Darkside - the drums on Gloom, Ash and Emptiness to the Horizon are very good! This is all the more impressive because despite being kept rather simple, they add a great deal of texture and sublime flow to the songs. Ashes always deliver, but the second half of this album is disproportionally strong. Melancholic, grey, but not forsaking the melodies (and mixed and mastered by the practised hands of M.), this is another Polish black metal gem. Favorite track: IV.

axegrinder Can't get this album out of my ears anymore since I started to listen to it. If there is any solace in the display of a bleak, barren and gloomy reality, this is the musical epitome of it. Favorite track: IV.
